David & Native American
When I had some time off I decided to go to the Native American Festival at Sycamore Shoals in Elizabethton. I
had such a great time that I asked this man to allow me to have my picture made with him. I hope to enjoy cultural events
like this in the future.

Johnia Hope Berry
This photo of my coworker Johnia was taken at work and was one of several taken of all of us at work for a project we
had in mind to let clients know who was taking care of them. It was an idea like supermarkets do by posting employee
of the month. The project fell apart because most of us left before it was completed. This is my friend that I
knew for about three-four years and I remember her being a positive influence on patients and staff to the point that it was
a joyable experience working with her and coming to work. She had shared some of her career and lifes goals with me and I
remember that she loved her parents very much and that she became a great friend. She was tragically stabbed in December
of 2004 in Knoxville and left her friends and family searching for answers. I know that she could never have had no enemies.
It may have been a stalker if the paper is right. She was such a positive part of life and her friendship was truly
a wonderful gift. If you read this please consider a moment of silence on December 6th each year in honor of a superbly great
spirit. No one had the right to take such a positive life from those lives that she touched. Thank you and I will miss my
friend.

A Spring Flower
We sometimes live a fast life and do not take the time to truly appreciate what is around us. Well this flower
is some of that beauty and we should take time to truly smell the flowers and enjoy the positives in our lives because negatives
sometimes come in bunches. So next time you are down just look around you and give yourself a little pickup.

Other Photographic Hobby Interests
Photography is a hobby that I enjoy. One part of that hobby is collecting photographs of fire engines. This
is a photo of Engine 17 of the Bristol Tennessee Fire Department. As in this case I always get permission before taking
any photograph where it may be needed.
